About Haley

Creator of the Do Your Work Movement

Haley Bowes is a Registered Social Worker, sought after for her expertise in trauma healing, and providing clients with the necessary framework to create and set internal, external, and energetic boundaries.  Her mission is to encourage everybody to do their inner work.

Haley’s approach is authentic, honest, and real.  She ensures everyone she works with, whether individually, or in a workshop setting feels seen, heard, and validated.  She encourages every individual to unpack and own their story, it is the gateway to fully loving and understanding yourself.

Haley’s roots are in rural Lanark County with her family (the two legged and four-legged kind); however, she can often be found travelling around to large bodies of water, darkening the doors of trendy live music venues, or writing her thoughts out in hopes that her words may land just right for someone else.

My beliefs & values

I believe that it is our responsibility to do our inner work. It takes courage to unpack our personal story’s and face our shadows, but it is also the only path to authenticity, empowerment, and healing (not just for ourselves, but for the generations that come after us). I am continually inspired by those who choose vulnerability over ego, the ones who are brave enough to feel all of the human feels. I value accountability, those souls who can say “I fucked up, “ and “I want to do better;” the ones who take the high road when there us much lower roads calling their name; and the people who get back up and dust themselves off when the human experience knocks them down.
